Virtual Post opens Hove post-production facility
Post production and content servicing company Virtual Post expands with a new regional facility hub in Brighton & Hove. Partnering with co-working space Freedom Works, VP are offering full service post, with production office space and production workflow consultancy to local indie prodco's and London based companies looking to expand into the regions.
CEO Jon Lee says "We have set up to satisfy the increasing post and content servicing demands of TV production growth in the region. It's an exciting time for production and creativity here. With an ever increasing community of talent in the South, we want to send a clear message to the commissioners that the region is wide open for business."
Brighton & Hove has recently been shortlisted as a potential city for one of Channel 4's regional hub when it moves out of London in the next few years. Virtual Post's expansion adds to its facility hubs in Soho and Orpington. They are a new breed of post company, leveraging the benefits of cloud infrastructure to compliment traditional working methods, and supporting flexible solutions to suit production companies preferred working methods.
Lee adds "Post Production is changing. Post isn't in one place any more. Content Servicing teams can work from anywhere. What's fantastic about this is how much easier it is for our clients and teams to work together with everyone benefiting from the significant cost and time savings that can result. VP is in its 5th year and has seen steady growth with more and more prodco's trusting to the cloud as part of their business operation."
COO Michael Wrightson adds “ VP is all about providing a traditional service whilst exploiting the enormous benefits that cloud solutions and flexible working can bring. This expansion is yet another example of how we are committed to growing our unique business model and meeting the ever increasing demands of our current and future client base”
